Accessibility · YogaPros
We want every teacher to read our pages, find their cover, and reach us — whatever device or assistive technology they use. This is where we stand, honestly, and how to tell us when we fall short.
YogaPros is the professional body for yoga teachers. Most of the people who use this site are teachers running a practice around the rest of their lives. Some read on a phone in a quiet ten minutes. Some use a screen reader, keyboard navigation, magnification, or captions. We build for all of them.
Our aim is for the site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We treat that as the standard we are working towards across every page, not a badge we have already earned. Where a page falls short, we want to know, and we will fix it.
The things we hold ourselves to as we build and review pages:
We will not claim full conformance. Parts of the site are older, and some content sits on third-party platforms we use to run membership, the public register, course listings, payments, and forms. Those areas may not yet meet Level AA in full.
We are reviewing the site against WCAG 2.1 AA in stages and correcting issues as we find them. If something on a page stops you using it, that is a fault on our side, and reporting it helps us put it right faster.
If you hit a barrier on any YogaPros page, please tell us what happened, the page you were on, and the device or assistive technology you were using. We read every report and aim to respond within a few working days.
Member experience
Email hello@theyogapros.com with “Accessibility” in the subject line, or reach us through the contact page. Martina and the member team will pick it up.
This statement is reviewed as the site changes and at least once a year. The date at the top shows when it was last checked. As more of the site is rebuilt and tested against WCAG 2.1 AA, we will update what we can and cannot yet promise here.
YogaPros is operated by Yoga Pros Organisation Limited, a not-for-profit company registered in Scotland (SC502923), based in Edinburgh.
If a page kept you out, we want to hear it. That is how the standard holds.
